We’ll begin the tour at 9 am by visiting the National museum in Accra.
We’ll continue the tour by visiting the heart of Accra – where we’ll explore Makola Market in Accra – Accra’s massive, always bustling open air market – the largest in the capital. You will not easily forget Makola market.
After discovering Makola, we’ll explore Jamestown aka ‘British Accra’. This is where the city of Accra started.. You will see the old colonial days’ buildings, the ‘ancient’ lighthouse and Ussher Fort.
The Kwame Nkrumah mausoleum is next. This is the memorial park where the contribution of this notable son of Africa is being constantly remembered.
Our next stop will be the Centre for National culture where arts and crafts of various are sold. Here you shall have a chance to hone your bargaining skills with some tips from your guide.
Last but not least, we’ll visit the Independence Square. This is the square where all national parades and anniversaries are held.
